Prayer
This is the assurance we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask - we know we have what we asked of him (1 John 5:14 - 15)
We sincerely believe that in order for God to use this ministry to impact people around the world, it must be bathed in daily prayer. Thank you for joining us in praying for this ministry and for the prayer requests presented here.
Please pray:
- For the Leadership, Staff and Board Members of Father’s Heart Projects – pray that God will give us His wisdom, to know what He wants us to do, where He wants us to do it, and when He wants us to.
- For our Field Manager in Kisumu, Pastor Tobias and his family – pray that God will continue to give him the energy and passion to serve both in his church and through his role with Father’s Heart Projects. Pray that God will protect him and his family, and bless him for his faithful service to the people of Kisumu.
- For the children in our Child Sponsorship Projects and the women in our Widow Sponsorship Projects – pray for those who have Sponsors, and for those who are waiting to be sponsored – pray that God will protect them, keep them healthy, well fed and clothed, and will surround them with people who will love them and care for them until they are able to care for themselves.
- That God will raise up many more faithful and committed Ministry Partners to enable us to serve and bless others, as He leads us.
- That God will supply the funds required to sustain our current Father’s Heart School in Kisumu, and that He will provide the additional funds required to complete the remaining two classrooms of our seven classroom school. This will enable us to provide excellent, Christian influenced education to many more children.
- For the teachers and cooks that work in our school in Kisumu – pray that they will be blessed by their willingness to teach at our school when they could earn more at another school. Pray that we will one day be able to pay them what they should be paid.
- For the governments in Kisumu, and in Kenya – pray that God will influence the leaders in such a ways as to ensure they lead in a God honouring manner, and that they will not allow any corruption or selfish pride to influence how they govern.
- That the Spirit of God will move mightily in Kisumu, and throughout Kenya, and that His people will continue to pray fervently for their city and their country.
- That there will be peace and unity among the two main tribes in Kenya; the Luo and the Kikuyu – pray that they will never again allow their prejudices to escalate to a repeat of the fighting and destruction that consumed Kenya during the last Presidential elections in 2007.
